An extremely realistic individual, my Horn teacher appears to be a recluse, detesting commercialization and conflicts of interests. His sole focus is mastering his instrument, and he prepares for concerts very diligently. Sometimes I go to his concerts, where he rarely makes mistakes.

I’ve known him for over seven years. He is one of my favorite teachers. His serene focus, undisturbed by others, is a quality I find lacking in myself. In fact that was what he taught me the most: There are no insurmountable obstacles in life; living in the present is crucial. Diligence can surely overcome clumsiness; even a less skilled bird can soar if it takes flight first!
